About me.

Hello and Welcome

If you haven’t already guessed, I love nature. I love to read and learn and educate myself especially in the power of the mind. I am a qualified Mental Health and Trauma-Informed Yoga and Mindfulness teacher with a deep passion in unlocking our negative loop thought patterns and returning to our natural, calm state.

At this point, it almost feels like I have spent a lifetime engaging in both formal and autonomous study. In fact, I rarely have one book, one podcast or one training on the go and it’s not because I love to be busy – quite the opposite in fact. It is because I love to learn.

And, perhaps even more than that, I love to share what I have learn’t in easy to digest, understandable language that is accessible to us all.

My goal now is to simplify my life where I can. Not an easy task, given I run two businesses (the other is construction 🔨), have a young family and a household to run. But I also have the tools, the knowledge and the deep belief that I am the creator and designer of this one great life.

I have always felt this deep knowing – that life is mean’t to be bright and lived joyously. 10 years ago I was far from feeling either of these things.

For years I operated well under the hustle culture, but as it often does, I was forced into a slower pace of living with the birth of my first child. While I adore being a mother, I quickly learn’t that the parenting road is filled with conflicting information, judgement, isolation and the expectation that we should continue at this unsustainable pace, wearing significantly more hats … with our children in tow.

This encouraged me to dive even deeper into my understanding of optimal physical and mental health and how this translated in a modern world. Through trial and error, trainings and a willingness to give it a go, I have uncovered a number of natural tools and modalities, backed by science, that enable me to stay focused, present and live a busy life at a much slower pace. My most important and treasured tool, however, is being present to the many pockets of joy that exist in the every day moments.

I can honestly say that each day now brings me wonder, awe, love, compassion and appreciation for the beauty that exists in this world – even the hard days.

I am now sharing what I have learn’t and my unique perspective on living a more meaningful life through my yoga classes, online meditations, one-day retreats, online courses (coming soon) and of course, my podcast Live Mindfully with Lori Moore, a creation I am very proud of.

So grab a cuppa, take a seat and have a look around. You’ve landed here for a reason and whatever that is I am so glad you have. I look forward to connecting with you soon.

May you be happy, healthy and filled with deep compassion,
